Bayani Fernando WTF?!

Imagine yourself cruising along the road of one of your favorite provinces when WHAM! this eyesore greets you!

This has happened to me 3x already. When i was in Batangas, Tagaytay and Bacoor Cavite. I almost succumbed to road rage. I so wanted to ram the light posts with my car! Since when has the Metro Manila Development Authority become the Philippine Development Authority? I know we have to put up with this guy in metro manila but in the provinces?!

What galls me the most is the supposed message he was saying, "Ang mga batas ay solusyon, dapat alamin at sundin". Shouldn't he be saying this in front of a mirror? If you yourself cant follow the law, then you have no business telling others to do so!

Just imagine what would happen if this man becomes president. I shudder at the thought. Anybody out there know where we can report this abomination for early electioneering?

it has always been my belief that this guy has no chance in hell of winning the presidential election. but when i read your blog medyo kinabahan ako. Seems there are still a lot of people who are either blind or are still willing to get fooled by empty promises by trapos :(

I guess my saying that Bayani is my choice for 2010 president is a personal, unpopular opinion. Ang tanong ko ay: sino ang karapat-dapat sa kanilang lahat? Nakakatakot isipin na baka wala akong mapili...

Kiko said...

so far nebz mahirap talagang pumili since mukang pare pareho lang sila lahat. :(

haaay, Pinas talaga:) most politicians are really into self-interests...if only they give the money to some other much needed things other than selfish intentions of promoting themselves plus, it's ugly to look at...it's all BS anyway, and oh yeah- "practice what u preach" eka nga!

Hi Kiko! There are some who are happy with BF's doings. The whole of Marikina I think is behind him. I think he has a chance, but he's not that well known in the provinces kaya he's doing the tarp with his face campaign. Hehehe..

Kiko, I can't find your email address, is there anyway you can contact me (candishhh@yahoo.com)? Thanks!

Hi Kiko, that's because BF has expanded Metro Manila into something he calls Metro Philippines (http://pindutinmoto.blogspot.com/2008/10/metro-what.html). You may be right about the road rage though. Haven't you noticed that incidents of road rage rose from the time his tarpaulins first appeared on EDSA?

I don't know which is worse: That I'm practically apathetic about this whole Filipino political "situation" or that I fear Filipinos are still ignorant when it comes to making a change.

The dude's even on TV - Celebrity Duets. Apparently, he has no shame.

bf gives me the creeps. mostly because of the way he thinks it's ok what he does to street vendors and squatters... and i'm terribly concerned, election-wise, that he's actually making right political choices. for instance, all this negative publicity about his two-faced mug plastered all over "metro philippines" is part of what's generating his much-needed popularity. he's caught us in a bind then. because although us hating him makes him all the more popular and we become his tools (God help us), we can't stop, because what he's doing has to be decried, and it is imperative that he has to be unmasked as the wolf that he is.

i have a proposal, and this just came to me right after i wrote the previous paragraph. let's demolish all the so-called presidentiables: villar with his c5 anomalies, his terrifying talent of taking advantage of his office to amass power and wealth, among other things; noli with his alleged blackmailing every bigshot he has an expose on, his incompetence, etc.; mar with his political fence-sitting and korina (i don't know if that's a bad thing for me, but it's a big no-no for me); chiz with his holier than thou attitude, his vaunted popularity among the vacuous youth who have no idea that a legislator should be passing laws and not just mouthing pretensious straight tagalog; and all the rest. let's demolish them over the nets, with all the people we know. hopefully, this will catch on in the media.

and then, we will see, when all the dust and dirt have settled, who is left standing.

i really believe that this 2010 election will be a turnpike in our history, and more importantly, in the very lives we're living right now. whether it's going to be a turn for the worse or a new hope, that remains to be seen. i hope we all of us can make our decision wisely. after all, for good or ill, we deserve the leaders that we choose...

PS feedback on my proposal will very much be appreciated. marcksanjuan@gmail.com please

PPS pasensiya na kiko, kung mahaba itong comment ko. thank you for the space. keep up the good work.

Hi, just passing thru, to pay you a visit.

I'm not a fun of BF either and I don't approved his electioneering tactics (besides using MMDA's budget for his personal ends). But like our present administration who does scandalous things as long as its legit, I think his within his legal bound when he put up those posters. Isn't Batangas and Cavite also within MMDA's juresdiction?

Kiko said...

@blogusvox- nope Batangas and Cavite is not within the MMDA's jurisdiction. And it definitely is not legal especially when he uses public funds and resources to put up those campaign posters.

It's about time somebody wrote someting about BF, that arrogant, self-centered MMDA chair.

I've always wondered, how can you expect someone who has his own convoy of bodyguards and "hagads" and counter-flows every single chance they get? And those U-turn slots! Goodness BF, have you not heard of the term bottleneck?

And you have the gall to campaign this early for the next elections?!

Dapat hagisan ng pintura ang mga posters na yan!

BF, ang kapal talaga ng mukha mo!!!

Hello again, Kiko.

I featured this particular post of yours, and other BF-related posts of other blogs on my latest post, mainly because I will be away for a few days, to a place whose sister city is the chairman’s lair. Makakita rin kaya ako ng maligno doon?

i'm a big fan of BF but yeah, he can get kinda over persistent with the early campaigning sometimes...

frequent makati, walang BF dun! hahaha!
